Monday Motivation - Rejection (How to deal with it)

Rejection is defined as "the dismissing or refusing of a proposal, idea, etc. or the spurning of a person's affections." Rejection happens to a lot of us, but sometimes when someone rejects you that could be the thing that fuels you to move in the direction God really wants you to go. Sometimes you don't need to be a part of a certain group or to be a person that follows. You could be called to lead, called to do something different and you won't fulfill your destiny being a part of someone else's dream. What you are called to do in this life is not always accepted by people that see you as a threat, so don't let the rejection define you, Fight Back with Success! Have a great week and don't give up on yourself. Monique Lyn elle Gray

Monday Motivation - Love The Skin You Are In

Love The Skin You Are In When each of us were born, we had the largest organ of our bodies showing, it is our skin. No matter what color your skin is, you were born, and no matter how you were raised, you were raised with your skin. Today I want to encourage everyone to love the skin you are in because it is uniquely your skin. My hope is that we could look past judging someone for the color of their skin, and instead we should be able to embrace the differences that we experience, because of our skin color or ethnic group. I will not say to be color blind, because culture, ethnicity, and color is a very important part of someone's experience. Many times people do not take the time to understand someone elses background, because they do not think it should play a role in who they have become, or why they behave the way that they do concernin...

Monday Motivation - Confidence

Confidence means, "the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; firm trust, the state of feeling certain about the truth of something, or a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities." When you are confident in yourself, you don't need someone else to validate who you are, you already know and show up with that belief. Having self-confidence reaches down in the depth of a person's soul (mind, will, and emotions) and shows on the outside to others. When someone does not know your worth, does not make you worthless, it...
